In 2021, we had the chance to meet Hubert Van Lysebetten in Ghent — a very fine gentleman who had just turned 100 at the time. He is now 104 and still carries himself with incredible vitality. David Garcia Pretelt and I, Marc-Aurèle Versini, used to visit him every week, usually over a good bottle of wine and a tart.

Hubert told us all sorts of stories, each one more fascinating than the last. This animation film brings one of them to life.
